We're repeating ourselves[edit]

The information in the paragraphs is recycled in the tables. This is true of all 4 articles, so I propose we do a little condensing of the raw text. For example I personally thing that of this page, the entire Recovery section can go, as it is detailed in the table below. Serpent King (talk) 15:55, 6 August 2015 (EDT)

Agreed. I think most of the information in this page can be condensed into list format (aesthetically I don't think tables work well for this sort of thing, but that's just a personal preference). Beyond that, there should be a general introductory section, probably best written by somebody with technical knowledge of AI systems. There is a lot of redundancy currently, however I think we should wait for consensus before implementing a broad rewrite of the article. Mario128 (talk) 16:15, 6 August 2015 (EDT)
Hey now. I made the tables. Believe me, it was necessary. Serpent King (talk) 16:18, 6 August 2015 (EDT)
Fair enough, I browse this site from a phone though, so it's possible that's causing the aesthetic problems for me. Mario128 (talk) 16:24, 6 August 2015 (EDT)
Probably. That must be rough for editing. Serpent King (talk) 16:25, 6 August 2015 (EDT)
Well, the raw text in this article has more specific examples of the same type as those in the tables (e.g. the Stage & Recovery sections), in comparison to the AI articles of the other games. I just added the captions so that it didn't look like a wall of text, but thinking about it... yeah, some info could be just moved to the tables to condense the text. The thing is that for the Sm4sh article, I wrote notable beneficial skills of the AI & improvements over previous games for the main text (since there were many), then wrote the flaws, but since in Smash 64 the AI is more known for how bad it is, I think that not much info is needed on the raw text anyway.

Though this article definitely needs something to look better: gifs. Badass Nidoking.png DracoRexKing 16:37, 6 August 2015 (EDT)

I might be able to help with that. (except for smash4) Serpent King (talk) 16:44, 6 August 2015 (EDT)
