The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Would it be worth it to add a meaning column, like Mariowiki and Bulbapedia do? Kind of pointless for characters, but potentially interesting for special moves, stages and the like. --Menshay (talk) 17:52, 2 July 2015 (EDT)
- Couldn't we accomplish that without adding a separate column? Seems better than leaving blank table cells on pages where they aren't needed or coding a lot of extra conditional parts into the template. Miles (talk) 18:17, 2 July 2015 (EDT)
- I think it would be. Things like Puff Up and Onslaught have radically different names in certain languages. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 18:20, 2 July 2015 (EDT)

If it's worth anything, the names on the website seem to use the Japanese writing at the bottom as opposed to the Chinese translations. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 18:20, 23 July 2015 (EDT)
