Tecnobar 1 was a tournament held by Super Smash Bros. Argentina, featuring singles for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, being the first tournament in Tecnobar series. It was the first tournament for the Argentina Power Ranking so it couldn't be seeded by skill. That resulted in several top players like Gado, MRDJ and Joaco meeting early in the tournament. A big upset was that MRDJ despite being considered a title contender was eliminated in early in the tournament, failing to win a single match, first knocked to losers round by Gado, and later eliminated from the tournament at the hands of Tyf.
