Phanna is a known Samus smasher that often uses super wavedashes in tournament matches. He is also the creator of the Phanna Mint combo series which displays his consistent proficiency in the effectiveness of super wavedashes. He plays intelligently and knows about various match-ups (he created the All Characters Match-Up Chart in SmashBoards' Melee Discussion board) and technical aspects of Samus (and other characters), pioneering the double platform missles.
