Apex 2015 is the upcoming sixth tournament in the Apex series of tournaments, directed by Alex Strife along with the rest of Team Apex, and held from January 30th-February 1st, 2015, in at the Clarion Hotel Empire Meadowlands in Secaucus, New Jersey. Like previous tournaments of the series, Apex 2015 will host a variety of fighting games, including singles and doubles events for Super Smash Bros. 64, Melee, Brawl, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The tournament is set to be the largest Melee tournament of all time, with over 1024 unique entrants, and the largest Smash 4 tournament of all time, with over 700 unique entrants.

Apex 2015 is officially partnered with Nintendo of America[1], although the details of this partnership have not yet been revealed. One apparent result of the partnership is that Project M is absent from Apex this year.

2014-2015 Apex World Circuit

The 2014-2015 Apex World Circuit is an ongoing series of fourteen qualifiers for the Melee singles tournament at Apex 2015. Each qualifier features a $1,000 prize bonus and complimentary flight and hotel for each of the winners, provided by sponsorship from Twitch.
