Kirby Squad, nowadays Shizuka, is a Dr. Mario player from Almere, The Netherlands. He is known widely throughout Europe for playing exclusively Dr. Mario in tournaments and is generally considered to be the best Dr. Mario player in the continent. He was formerly ranked third on the Dutch Power Rankings. He has hosted a series of tournaments known as XTC with his best friend Goat.

Trivia
- Although his nickname is Kirby Squad, most people refer to him as Dave (his real name), because his nickname is considered awful. In 2008 he changed his nickname.
- He is considered to be one of the kindest smashers in the Netherlands and was voted 'most kind smasher' at the Dutch Smash Awards.
- Next to playing games at professional level, he is also a Game Designer working for Mediamonks Games in Hilversum as Lead Sound Designer Music Composer.
