The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Any thoughts on using this template? Miles (talk) 20:00, 22 December 2014 (EST)

I'm not so sure. There's a small amount of pages that don't have their Japanese name, and when/if we do come across a page without its Japanese name, we're probably just going to add the Japanese name anyways, so I would see little use of this template. Then again, most of us don't know Japanese, but then there's Google Translate… yeah, I'm neutral, but leaning towards oppose with use of this template. Having recently gone through many lists of pages in standardizing {{ja}}, I can tell you there are quite a few in need of it. Stages and items in particular. Miles (talk) 20:16, 22 December 2014 (EST)
Yeah, but what I'm saying is that when/if we find those pages, we're just going to add the Japanese name anyways, so use of this template would be very, very minimal, if we use it at all. Rtzxy Reflect.jpg Reflect! 20:19, 22 December 2014 (EST)
Isn't the point of any template like this to mark work to be done? I don't assume every user can dig up reliable official sources for all the missing names. Miles (talk) 20:25, 22 December 2014 (EST)
