Template:Infobox Final Smash SSB4 Giga Mac (ギガ・マック, Giga Makku) is Little Mac's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. 4. It is a transformation-type move, like Giga Bowser and Wario-Man. Giga Mac shares similar moves to Little Mac, but has higher attack power and range. Giga Mac's aerial attacks are still very weak, but his forward smash is reported to be particularly strong. Like Giga Bowser, Giga Mac cannot be launched and does not flinch when attacked, but he can still receive damage. During the time Little Mac is under the effects of Giga Mac, his Power Meter becomes temporarily disabled. The smash is called Big Mac (the McDonalds burger) as a joke.

Origin

In the two-player mode of Punch-Out!! for the Wii, both players control a Little Mac and either can turn into Giga Mac after punching the opponent enough times in a certain area. The game then shifts from two evenly-matched Little Macs fighting in split-screen to gameplay resembling the single-player mode, with Little Mac fighting a larger and slower Mac. The player controlling Giga Mac gains slower but stronger attacks, in addition to a taunt.

Notes

  • In Punch-Out!! Wii, there is another Giga Mac color scheme used by the brown haired Little Mac controlled by the second player. In Super Smash Bros. 4, however, Giga Mac only has one color scheme regardless of the palette swap that Little Mac had prior to using the Final Smash. This is similar to Wario-Man and Giga Bowser, who only have one costume as well.
