The 3DS version is rater E10

Why so much hate on the 3ds version
It is actually better than the wii u, with three new exclusive game modes. I think the wii u one will be an sverage game despite more initial promotion than the 3ds version. It's a thing though with cross console games. Exactly what happened with Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games. The wii one was more promoted, but the ds had more gameplay modes and all. Looks like the case here. Adamthedorr (talk) 11:37, 9 August 2014 (EDT)

ESRB leak
Why is this wiki taking this leak seriously? It hasn't been confirmed yet. End of story. Take this leak with several truckloads of salt —Preceding unsigned comment added by Harro (talk • contribs) 09:06, 26 August 2014 (EDT)
- First, your signature is invalid, as nowhere in it does it clearly indicate that you are Harro. Second, you've been ignoring the conversation that has been going on here. Nintendo will not be confirming a leak when they wanted to keep the content in it a secret to begin with, but we have strong reason to believe that the video leaks are indeed correct. If you want to argue for removal of the leaks or clearer indications that the leaks may have been "falsified" despite the evidence against that, go and argue it there. Circle Pad Pro
Nintendo has just announced that Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS would be compatible with the Circle Pad Pro and the New Nintendo 3DS's C-Stick.--Wolfy76700 (talk) 09:00, 29 August 2014 (EDT)

- Your Google Drive is set to private, so we can't access it without your permission. Although if you could give us access, or upload some screenshots of the Omega Forms to SmashWiki yourself, that would help us out a lot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ToastUltimatum (talk • contribs) 13:43, August 29, 2014 (CDT)

Starting Roster for Smash 3DS revealed
Here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-xBsgQ10Ew --Wolfy76700 (talk) 13:29, 6 September 2014 (EDT)
- Too early to tell, especially since it's the roster of the latest demo. When it comes out next week in Japan, that's when we'll know the final starting roster. Berrenta (talk) 13:50, 6 September 2014 (EDT)
- Seems odd that the third-party characters would be default. I think it's just like the ESRB demo. ...a new Nuttais approaching... 14:48, 6 September 2014 (EDT)
- Never mind, however I have here sore real information: Pictochat is confirmed as a returning stage (Bottom left) : http://youtu.be/hLYHN2bQtLo?t=20s And I know it may not be the place for speculation, but the stage icons further seem to confirm the ESRB leak, as they do seem to be exactly the same as the ones seen in the leaks.--Wolfy76700 (talk) 18:50, 6 September 2014 (EDT)

Demo
There's a demo for the game currently available at a mall somewhere in Tokyo. This demo has revealed some new information (most from the ESRB leak), including PictoChat returning as a stage and Alph from Pikmin 3 being four of Olimar's alternate costumes (in a similar manner to how Lucina was originally going to be a Marth alt - the announcer even calls Alph's name). Should all this new information be added to the pages, or should we just wait for the release of the game in 4 more days? Nintendocan (talk) 18:42, 7 September 2014 (EDT)
- Wait, mostly because there's some mis-information going back and forth, Pictochat isn't returning according to the demo, but Pictochat 2 is a new stage. Laikue (talk|contribs) 23:13, 7 September 2014 (EDT)
Leaked info from Demo
Hey, someone on Tumblr compiled a lot of stuff from that demo, link is here-http://ssb4dojo.com/spoilers It confirms a lot of new characters and items~ Spoilers ahead

- Not the demo, it's the full game, and everything there is already being mentioned on the pages. Laikue (talk|contribs) 06:19, 11 September 2014 (EDT)
Full Protection
Should we because it has just released? Dots (talk) The Oreo 01:47, 14 September 2014 (EDT)

Version history
Since the 1.0.1 update has been released, I think that there should be a changelog article or section. TorchicBlaziken (talk) 09:56, 14 September 2014 (EDT)
- Yeah we're going to have to have a list somewhere of updates and what they did. I have a few ideas:
- Have a list of updates on the game pages.
- Have an article called something like "List of updates for SSB4", which would have one section per update and a list of changes in each. May or may not need two pages (one per game), not sure.
- Have one article per update, called something like "Update x.y.z for SSB4". The TF2 wiki does this, though mostly because their updates are complex and frequent.
- For now we could keep it on this page just to get it started, but I'm leaning towards option 2. Toomai Glittershine The Altruistic 10:22, 14 September 2014 (EDT)
- I'd say option 2 for now but if updates get really complex then up it to 3, Guybrush20X6 (talk) 10:24, 14 September 2014 (EDT)
- I agree with going with option 2 for now; a brief section linking to the page can be added on this article. Scr7(talk · contribs) 10:26, 14 September 2014 (EDT)
- I indeed agree with option 2. --Wolfy76700 (talk) 14:08, 14 September 2014 (EDT)
- I like Option 2. I think that the infobox for the game should state the current version. I think the article should be called "version history" and the lists of regional version differences should be renamed to be consistent with this. Because later versions of earlier Smash Bros. games are actually updated versions of the game, released physically rather than as digital patches. And Melee actually has multiple NTSC versions. TorchicBlaziken (talk) 12:07, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
Don't know where else to point it out, but this should be of use. Miles (talk) 00:41, 15 September 2014 (EDT)
- Seems useful, if someone can translate it. I think that we're all in consensus that we should go to option 2 (and possibly option 3, later on), so I'm thinking that we should make a page titled 'Version history of Super Smash Bros. 4,' or two pages for the separate versions if needed. I have already begun this page here. Toomai Glittershine The Metroid 10:20, 21 September 2014 (EDT)

Glitch
I discovered a glitch on the magicant stage in this game. I was just wondering if this wiki could cover it with a page or a least a section on a page. I take full credit for discovering it and i also posted the youtube showcasing the glitch myself. http://youtu.be/u1uKJ2Jg9oA 124.148.229.64 10:08, 15 October 2014 (EDT)
