Notices
The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Move.png It has been suggested that this article should be moved to Yoshi Super Jump.
The reason given for the move is: Name is extremely similar to page for another glitch, and new name would be much more specific and allow for clearer redirects. (Discuss)
For the article about a glitch sending a character far upwards, see Superjump.

The Super Jump is an advanced Yoshi technique in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It allows a player to do two double jumps off the ground, giving Yoshi extra vertical boost.

The Super Jump is performed by double jumping and air dodging right after Yoshi lands from a previous jump. The player will be boosted upwards about equal to a double jump, but Yoshi is still able to use his actual double jump afterwards. When combined with his double jump, he can gain a much higher vertical boost than when using his normal ground jump. The Super Jump can be repeated as long as the player keeps landing on platforms.

Uses

The Super Jump can be used for edgeguarding and jumping across platforms on large stages. It can also be used to perform stage jumps such as the Reverse Hyrule Jump.
