Pac-Man (パックマン, Pakkuman Puck Man), occasionally stylized as PAC-Man, is the main character in the Pac-Man series.
Character description
Pac-Man debuted in the arcade game, Pac-Man, in 1980. He initially began with little to no personality traits, but was fleshed out in the both Pac-Land and the Pac-Man World series. In these games, Pac-Man is shown to have a family that he deeply cares about, and is characterized as a fun-loving individual with a large appetite.

Trivia
- Super Smash Bros. 4 is the second game to feature Mega Man and Pac-Man in a fighting game, the first being the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of Street Fighter X Tekken (Albeit, both modified).
- By extension, Mega Man, Link, Snake, Donkey Kong, Little Mac, Sonic, and Pac-Man are the only fighters to appear in fighting games outside of the Smash series.
