Gastly is no. 92 in the Kanto and international Pokédexes in the Pokémon games. It appears in Smash Run in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as an enemy.

Origin

Gastly first appeared in the Pokemon Tower in Pokemon Red and Blue (called Pokemon Red and Green in Japan). The player needed to use a Silph Scope to see Gastly and its evolution, Haunter, and without it, Gastly could not be captured.
