Mega Lucario (メガルカリオ, Megarukario) is the Mega Evolution of Lucario in the Pokémon games. It appears in Super Smash Bros. 4. It is currently unknown how the Mega Evolution is activated. Mega Lucario's aura attacks are always at maximum power, regardless of Lucario's current damage.

Origin

Mega Evolution is a mechanic introduced in Pokémon X and Y. Only a small amount of Pokémon including Lucario can Mega Evolve, as long as it holds a special Mega Stone unique to its species. The fact that Mega Lucario's aura attacks are at maximum power regardless of damage taken may reflect Adaptability, an Ability Lucario possesses in this state. Under Adaptability, attacks that share a type with the user have increased power.
