Metal Blade is Mega Man's neutral special move. This moves involves Mega Man throwing a metal blade towards his opponent. The blade can be thrown in 8 different directions. It has also been shown to have the ability to throw backwards in a straight line. Metal Blade can also be caught by the opponent, and then thrown back to Mega Man. The blade seems to travel up until it is able to hit something.

Origin

The Metal Blade was first introduced in Mega Man 2. This move belonged to the Robot Master Metal Man. Metal Man is a red and yellow robot that throws it's blades in reaction to where Mega Man is on the battlefield. After defeating Metal Man, Mega Man receives the Metal Blade as a power up. This can be used against Metal Man in Dr. Wily's Castle, as it can defeat Metal Man in about 2 hits.
