The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Talk:Prospective Character
From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki

There needs to be some list of characters that almost made it in, a compiled list of which characters were cut and why etc. A full list where some characters' absences are explained.
- Delete The potential characters that spawned major rumors or that had partial game data already have notes on their respective pages. Frankly, we don't know enough about which characters were being seriously considered or why they were cut for this page to exist on its own merit. Pure speculation is generally a bad thing unless the mere existence of the speculation is notable, and even then, only very specific speculation should be included; this page is almost certainly gonna be abused by anybody who thought that a particular character should've made it onto one of the rosters. – Defiant Elements +talk 04:29, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Strong Delete What DE said, and there's already a rumors page. Cheezperson {talk}stuff 05:02, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Even Stronger Delete What DE said, what Cheez said, and it's even got the same pictures as the Rumors page. And they keep on removing the delete tag. PenguinofDeath 06:34, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
