Everyone else (and by everyone else, I mean 2 other people) is doing it, why shouldn't I? I'll explain why I chose these characters and snubs for the Smash 4 prediction game set up by Omega Tyrant.

Luigi
Status: 
He was guaranteed to be in this game, no doubt about it.
Confirmed August 7, 2013 Wow, big surprise there and a whooping 2 points for everyone but one person.
Peach
Status:

Diddy Kong
Status: 
Diddy's really popular, so it's an almost guarantee.
Wario

Ganondorf
Status:
Although he was horrible in Brawl, Ganon is really popular in the Smash series and he's really big in his own series also so he's an almost gurantee.
Zero Suit Samus
Status:
This one was a risk for me. Before seeing the first trailer, I though she would most likely not make it, but seeing Zero Laser come back as Samus's Final Smash for this game, I thought it would be more likely for her to return.
R.O.B.
Status:
R.O.B. seemed pretty risky at first thought, but Mr. Game & Watch came back for Brawl so I went heck it and hoped for the best, and he's pretty popular in Smash. He's also one of the best retro characters and was very significant to Nintendo history.
Meta Knight
Status:
Like Ganondorf, except he was the exact opposite of horrible in Brawl.
King Dedede

Olimar
Status:
He seemed to be a no brainer, especially when Pikmin 3 was about to come out, and I think one of the new characters from Pikmin 3 would be alongside Olimar instead of replacing, and Olimar is just a popular player in Smash.
Confirmed July 12, 2013 A little surprised he was announced early, but nonetheless 9 users got 7 points for this selection.

Marth
Status:
The new Fire Emblem came out, and since the series was relevant again at the time, I felt like Marth would come back no doubt.
Confirmed November 7, 2013 I was a little surprised by that, but 13 lucky people got 5 points for this pick.
Ike
Status:
I was actually a little unsure about this pick. Ike replace Roy in Brawl a part of me felt like Ike was going to get replaced by someone else for this game. Ike is popular in both the Smash series and the Fire Emblem series, so he seemed to be back most likely. Also, I felt that more Fire Emblem characters are going to appear than just 2, so yeah most likely he'll return.

A little unsure about this one honestly. He's not really relevant right now, and he wasn't all that good in Brawl, but he does have a pretty good chance of returning just cause Nintendo.
Mr. Game & Watch

Kinda like R.O.B., but he seems less likely (Yes I know, sad).
