A "resurrected" Smasher from Calgary, Alberta. Aozora rejoined the scene in 2012 after a 6 year hiatus. Most notable for showing up out of the blue and taking 5th place in a tournament, though he has yet to win one. Since then, he has gone on to rank highly in almost every tournament. Aozora has also demonstrated superior teamwork capability alongside fellow local Smashers in running “Otafest: Assault,” a provincial tournament within the established conventional event, “Otafest,” in May, 2013. Aozora has been on watch for being one of the most powerful Peach players of the province and is also known to team with Subzer0King in Doubles Tournaments. With his extensive knowledge of Smash, Aozora is always willing to lend advice as well as willing to learn more. Most enjoyed by his peers, he displays sportsmanship, modesty, and most of all, respect for everyone.
Otafest: Assault
A tournament hosted in 2013 at Calgary's popular anime convention, Otafest, had AozoraX and his team at the helm of the tournament.
Co-run by various Smashers of the community (Sleak, Subzer0king, Mach5, etc), Otafest: Assault grew to be, if not, the most popular and well known tournament of 2013 in the summer, featuring a huge tournout from Calgary and Edmonton veteran Smashers.
