Yo-yo stack glitch

Revision as of 11:05, October 11, 2013 by Scr7 (talk | contribs)

Ness' Yo-yo Stack Glitch is an example of Z-fighting in Melee. Unlike Ness' Yo-yo Glitch, this glitch is performed with down smash (instead of up smash) and is entirely graphical. The glitch is performed by taking advantage of the earliest IASA frame on Ness' downsmash and performing another downsmash on that frame. Doing so will cause the first yo-yo to stay out and the second yo-yo to stack on top of it. This process can be repeated indefinitely making Ness' yo-yo appear to have a kaleidoscoping effect. This glitch was discovered by Mofo during the DDoS attack on Smashboards in 2013.
