The Ice Climbers, although an obscure character who received little attention upon the release of Ice Climber (the videogame of their first appearance) have fortunately found quite a wide fanbase in SSBM.

Their metagame is widely expected to advance, a prediction which is due most to their ability to desynch. While some players focus on a style of play which uses little desynching, it is those players who desynch habitually and often which are expected to bring the Climbers even higher on the tier list than they are now.
