'Gonzalo Barrios, aka ZeRo is a 17 year old smasher from Chile, South America. His gamertag is: “ZeRo,” his tag since 2005. He has been playing smash since the first game on the Nintendo 64 in 1999. He started to travel and play in tournaments in Chile in early 2007 during Melee. The best placing in Melee for him was at the Chilean national tournament of 2009. He is currently the top ranked online and offline brawl player in Chile maining Metaknight. He originally became famous in the United States by being one of the top players on AiB. His first international tournament was at Apex 2012 where he got 17th in singles and 9th in teams (teaming with Kadaj.) At Apex 2013, he got 9th in singles and 13th in singles (teaming with quiKsilver. He also participated in the United States vs. the World crew battle, taking the final two stocks off of his fellow crew member Mew2King before losing to ESAM. His last tournament before returning to Chile was his first win at Rescue 2 where he won vs. Nairo. Before leaving, he was honorably put on the NY/NJ/PA Tristate Power Rankings in 2nd behind Mew2King.
