Honestly, who thinks Star KOs should be banned? VenomDarkfyre (talk) 11:15, 13 July 2011 (EDT)

This is not appropriate talk page discussion. Mr. Anon (talk) 11:16, 13 July 2011 (EDT)
Not to mention you could not possibly "ban" a form of KO. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 11:23, 13 July 2011 (EDT)

Gah. Sorry about that. My first attempt at one of these and it goes to the toilet. There is significant controversy regarding this form of KO, but it doesn't happen that often which it decides a match.VenomDarkfyre (talk) 21:02, 13 July 2011 (EDT)

It certainly isn't significant, if an actual controversy at all. It has been noted that when two or more people are KO'd around the same time, someone getting Star KO may unfairly decide the match, but it really doesn't have an impact, as it rarely, if ever, shows up (especially in competitive play). Also, SmashWiki is just a reporter of facts, not a decider of the rules. As such, if you were looking to get something banned, the Smash Back Room would be who you bring it up to, not us. Oh, no no no. Personally, I like Star KOs. What I meant by then ban was mistaken(I should have found a more appropriate phrase). What I meant was that little "controversy" I keep hearing of. I've noticed around my area that people are falling for the said issue we are discussing. I was merely trying to get to the root of the problem and help put it to rest. This is not a relatively big problem.VenomDarkfyre (talk) 23:48, 13 July 2011 (EDT)

In that case, I was the one who brought it up in the first place. There have been I few matches that I have played where the difference between a screen and a star KO is enough to alter who the victor is. I assumed that this was a well-known "controversy", and originally put it in the article. My appologees. Mr. Anon (talk) 00:01, 14 July 2011 (EDT)
