All-Star event
- This article is about the Event Matches. For information on the secret All-Star Mode, see here.
All-Star Matches are five Event Matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee that pit the player against 4-5 different computer players (up to six on the last one), one right after the other. Each computer plays on his own stage, so every time a computer is defeated, the player is automatically taken to the next stage, keeping their damage percentage as they go.
All All-Star Matches last four minutes and gives the player two lives. High scores are shown by how long it took the player to defeat all characters.

In Brawl
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, these matches reappear under the name 'All-Star Battle', acting as a Multi-Man Brawl. Unlike Melee's All-Star Matches, the opponents you face are categorized by newcomers and veterans of this game. The player has to battle two opponents, and there will be a short delay for another one to appear. These matches do not have a limited amount of time for the player to complete them.
