Your unban from the IRC

I have decided sufficient time has passed and unbanned you from the IRC. However, here are some things I suggest you start doing in the future to avoid another IRC ban.

1. Stop talking about tiers so often - While tier talk is fully acceptable, the way you talk about them, from the flip flopping on your stance on them, to the annoying, pointless arguments you cause that people don't want, to the blaming them for anything you see wrong, brings an undesirable atmosphere to the IRC channel along with an ire from the users there who get aggravated by it.

2. Stop insulting other users who don't share the same views as you - You don't believe in tiers? Fine, but don't insult others by saying things such as "you just love tiers" or insult them with "tier whore", for not sharing your beliefs or for arguing against you when you try to force your beliefs upon them. Such insults do not help you nor enforce your beliefs and arguments, they only increase the ire of other users towards you.

3. Stop the "Tires don exits" rants - Along with all rants about the tier list ruining something. This ties in with the other two, but even if you argued rationally and didn't insult others while treating them with respect during them, these rants are not acceptable. They just negatively affect the mood, aggravate others, and are such common precursors to arguments that either divulge into flame wars and/or result in kicks/bans.

4. Stop attacking Megatron1 unprovoked - While he has been guilty of this towards you too, I have warned him about it, and he was getting better. Recent memory however, recalls you being guilty of this the past few times, not to mention you often did it in a more severe manner as well (the incident where you really got bad about it right after I left the IRC stands out). This is of course, completely unacceptable and will without hesitation result in a kickban should you do this again.

5. Stop excessive pinging of users - It's alright and I even encourage to ping users if you want their attention for something (especially if you just came on and they're probably idle). But when you do it for every other thing you say and even ping in acknowledging responses to their answers, it can get easily and very annoying. You have gotten especially bad about this with me, where I can recall a time where you pinged me at least 10 consecutive times in less than 10 minutes, not to mention that you would literally ping me with about every other response. How annoying this is depends on the user, but when they ask you to stop it, you do it. I can recall myself and another user (who I won't name) asking you to stop pinging us so much, with you not listening to us (I recall myself having asked you to stop unnecessary pinging multiple times). As such, if this is to continue with little to no improvement from you in other areas, you could very well face a ban for it.

That about wraps it up. While you are unbanned from the IRC, you won't have a clean slate. You will be held to a stricter standard, your past offenses will be held against you for future offenses, and not obliging to any of these suggestions just once can result in another, longer ban. You have caused much disruption in the IRC channel for a while now, and I'm sure there are other users who won't agree with me unbanning you now. But being a believer in second (third, fourth, etc.) chances and believing all bans to be limited, I'll give you another chance now. As said earlier though, commit any of the acts above just once, and you'll likely face a rather lengthy ban.

As a personal recommendation from myself, try to talk about things besides Smash Bros. While it is a Smash Bros. based IRC channel, it's not the only thing to talk about. Talking about Smash Bros. only isn't necessarily a bad thing, but you have the tendency to not only talk about things often you have brought up so often before, but to cause the same aggravating arguments about them, which leads to basically all but the fifth problem I listed above. Not listening to this recommendation won't result in negatively affecting your status on the IRC channel directly, but I'm sure listening to it will help you stay out of trouble on the channel, and raise your standing among the other users there.

That's it for now, and should you show genuine improvement, I'll loosen up about this. But just one incident before that, and a months ban will occur. I do hope you actually read and comprehend this, as I do not want to have to see you banned from the IRC channel (or the Wiki) again. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 02:37, 27 December 2010 (EST)

Also, make an archive of your talk page already. It's approaching 90,000 bytes, three times the recommended size before archiving of a talk page. If you don't know how to, read this. If you still can't do it yourself, ask another user if they can help you with it (I myself am incapable of helping you with it due to current circumstances, so you'll have to ask someone besides me). Pinging

I told you not to abuse it, and you deliberately did it anyway. You can take a break from the IRC and learn to listen to what others tell you, especially if that person has the power to ban you. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 20:13, 11 January 2011 (EST)

Also, archive your talk page. You already been told twice to do it on your talk page, and even more times on the IRC. It's not a long or difficult process, and judging by the amount of time you spend here, you have more than enough time to archive. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 03:26, 12 January 2011 (EST)

Ok, let me explain something. I ping to get your attention since you don't respond until i ping you, it gets annoying to have to wait 5 min for a response. And also, I don't go on here that much so i never got any time to archive my talk page (Which is not a big deal anyway). I have a question, when you archive a talk page, does this stuff get deleted? Doc King (talk) 17:30, 13 January 2011 (EST)
No, you didn't just ping, you did it deliberately right after ZS told you not to, multiple times in succession. Your one ping consisted of my name repeated about 20 times, which was basically spamming the channel. And not to mention before this, you barely cut down on your unnecessary pinging, and other users had to tell you to stop pinging them. And learn to be patient. As I told you, ZS, etc., if someone doesn't answer you right away, don't ping or repeat the question. Half the time when you guys do that the other person is typing the answer, and it is very annoying to be in the process of answering those questions for you guys to then rush us.
And archiving is a big deal. It is done so people can visit your talk page without having to wait an unnecessary long time for it to load, or some cases, even crashing their browser. It's common courtesy to others, and something you must do when your talk page becomes too big. The recommended size for archiving is 30,000 bytes, and right now, your talk page is at 85,000 bytes and growing, which is quite ridiculous. The process of archiving takes around 5 minutes, and I see you around often, so your excuse of "not going on here much" doesn't work.
So here's how it's going to be. You got three days to archive. If you don't archive your talk page by then, I'll archive it myself, and you'll be blocked for not following our user talk page guidelines and ignoring numerous warnings about it. To archive, read this. And what posted on your talk page is moved to a subpage of your talk page, not deleted. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 19:11, 13 January 2011 (EST)

Your block

How many times must I tell you. When someone reverts your edit, you do not undo the revert with little to no explanation. You bring it to the talk page, and discuss it there. Especially in this case, when your constant unnecessary centering of the tables have been getting reverted each time by numerous editors. For constantly ignoring SW:1RV, you can take a break from the Wiki, and learn to adhere to the policies in place. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 12:06, 17 January 2011 (EST)

Oh, and saying "FUCK YOU MAN", "I have a right to ping you so dont use it as a john", and "stop being such a bitch and get ur ass over here" to the admin who blocked you is a very intelligent way to appeal your block. So during your extended block, learn some decency as well. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 12:12, 17 January 2011 (EST)

Hasn't Doc been banned 10 times or so? Mr. Anon (talk) 20:01, 17 January 2011 (EST)

He been banned many times on SmashWikia, but considering he been somewhat decent on the new Wiki and has not gotten previously banned in the four months of the Wiki's existence, I decided to not hold what happened on Wikia that much against him.
