The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

I don't mind admitting that I've been a Sonic fan for longer than I can remember, but I hate to say that I don't choose him on Brawl anywhere near as much as I'd like to. Probably because even though he's really fast, and if there's a race for an item he wins every time, he has no really strong finishing moves. Given that in the comics and in his own games he spends most of his time obliterating each and every one of Dr. Robotnik's robots in one hit, I'd have thought he would be pretty strong in Brawl, but no... Then he would be really cool and really good, and apparently that's not allowed in Smash. Except Marth. And King Dedede. And Meta Knight. And Donkey Kong. And Sheik (Melee only). But that's it. Seriously. None of the other characters are both really cool and really good. Observe:
