The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

GameCube controller

The Nintendo GameCube controller is the controller for the GameCube. It is similar to the Nintendo 64 controller, but without the middle grip. The Wii is able to utilize this for GameCube games, Virtual Console games, and select Wii games (Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii).
Standard Controls
- Control Stick Up: Jump (if Tap Jump is turned on)
- X or Y: Jump
- Control Stick Down: Crouch
- Control Stick Down (hold): Platform Drop
- Control Stick Left/Right: Walk
- Control Stick Left/Right (sharp tap): Dash
- A Button: Attack
- B Button: Special Attack
- L or R Button: Shield
- D-Pad: Taunt
- C Stick: Smash Attack
- Z Button: Grab
- START Button: Pause
