Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome, editors and users, to the Smash Arena! Each week this forum hosts a tussle between two characters from the Super Smash Bros. series! The winner gets, well, nothing. It's more of a poll, really, but more of a popularity contest to see who is the better fighter. So what are you waiting for? Get voting! Remember, you can remain anonymous! If you have any requests for future fights, please feel free to leave a message here.

The Rules, Briefly

Functionally, this is a popularity contest. You may vote for your favorite or who you think would win in an competition between the two combatants that week. No, you don't have to vote for the character with strength & power, just vote if you are a total fanboy of the character. You may vote only once. Once you voted, your decision is final and you cannot change your vote. If you are a user, please include your vote in the user section. If you are not a user, please include your vote in the anonymous section. It is important to do this because user votes will be 1 pts and anonymous votes will only have 1/2 a pt. Votes put in the wrong section will be deleted. Users who do not log in when they vote will be considered anonymous IPs, and their votes also will be deleted. When a new fight is created (which is every Friday), the previous fight's votes will be totaled and its winner decided. The fighter with the most votes WINS!!

  1. Young Link grows up to be the legendary Hero of Time, who not only saved the whole of Hyrule, but Termina as well. Him along with Zelda also made Toon Link's timeline possible, with Hyrule rebuilt and all.   2. Young Link has gone through so much more than Toon Link. He can also use the Fierce Diety Mask effectively and has mastered many mask transformations. Toon Link has gone through a lot too but Young Link still owns.
  3. Young Link is the boy who saved two worlds. Toon Link is the boy who saved one world which was flooded anyway. Young Link is way cooler.

  2. Yoshi is my friend's favourite character so i'm voting against him to annoy him.
  3. A Charizard's fighting ability has been trained ever since it was a Charmander and can learn to fly, breath fire, smash rocks etc. A Yoshi is born with basically all of its abilities and will never be able to hone new strengths other than throwing eggs, making eggs, ground pounding and breathing fire without the use of a Smash Ball or swallowing a fiery object. Also, a Charmander will only ever evolve into a Charizard through training so it will always be experienced in fighting. Eventually. The next two or three can be previewed here. As is obvious, the next two are Young Link vs. Toon Link and Peach vs. Mr. Game & Watch. We also try and wait a while between times a character fights in the Arena. We just had Galleom, and we have Charizard now, so they'll be a bit later. Miles (talk) 04:12, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
