The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

USB Gecko

USB Gecko is a cheat device for the Wii that is similar to the Action Replay. The USB Gecko's effects have been chronicled throughout videos and pictures alike, and has thus become popular. However, playing as an unplayable character or playing on an unplayable stage makes the game freeze. This is one of few differences between it and the Action Replay.

Trivia

  • Some say that people can only use the USB Gecko if they have a modded Wii. Whether this is true or not has yet to be verified.
  • Shippiddge will use the USB Gecko for his 2nd season of Smashtasm. He has already used the Gecko in one of his "Smashtasm Extras", titled "Talking to Yourself", where he uses it to make two Marios (both the same color, rather than one being a lighter shade) and a "Shadow" Mario.
