| The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Though I'm new here, I'm not new to wikis- I've been registered on GuildWiki for a year and a half, and a sysop there for almost 6 months. Over on GuildWiki, we have a bunch of policies- and all of them work excellently. I have compiled a list of policies I'd like to see implemented here- I wholeheartedly believe they would benefit the community greatly. Any thoughts you have on any of them should go on their respective talkpages.

- Everything looks good so far, IMO. Things seem well-defined and I haven't found any ambiguity that people can abuse. I think there should be added sections about what is and isn't speculation and stuff about valid sources. We tend to come across arguments over issues like that. Other than that, I think it needs a few tweaks and it'll work well for the SmashWiki. FyreNWater - (Talk • Contributions ) 08:15, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
