Story
Green Hill Zone was the first stage in the Sonic the Edgehog game (1991) for Sega Megadrive and Sega Master System. It had loops, slopes and was of large dimension (although Sonic was capable of run very quickly).
Green Hill Zone in SSBB
In a recent trailer, sonic was seen running in a stage that looked like the Green Hill Zone from the Sonic Universe.
For now, it's unknown if Sonic's stage is Green Hill Zone or if it's going to be a agglomeration of various Sonic's well-known scenarios (there is also the possibility of an Angel Island Zone stage, due to Angel Island Zone music shown in the Dojo). However, it can also be part of Subspace Emissary, or both.
