Bad wording in attacks section
I think the attacks should be reworded from "First move", "Second move", ect. to "Move sets". This would increase clarity for those trying to learn his pattern.
Role in Subspace Emissary
Actually if you look closely you will see that Tabuu does not turn Ganondorf into a trouphy put rather pushes him back. Ganondorf, while flying back hits the chains holding master hand which turns him into a trophy while releasing master hand at the same time. Being the last boss, I think a guide to his attacks/a list of recommended strategies would be nice. annoying1359 01:07, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Anyone got his trophy? If so, please add it. 72.35.99.86 00:57, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
I think how the off-waves work (in battle) is during the time between the last time he used it, and the next time he uses them, he is charging and storing up power, meaning after Sonic attacked him, he lost a large amount of energy, so in battle, the first off-wave is the strongest of that set, second has enough power to still KO, but the third time he has a lack of energy to KO. So this could mean that he has energy that charges up with time, and decreases with attacks, so it could mean that depending on what attack he uses could tell how much energy he has. This is why after exiting his Wing Form, he lags for a period of time, so he must recharge. Learner3 17:29, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Whoever did that is ****ing stupid. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.127.92.247 (talk • contribs) 03:33, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Tabuu is...
Has anyone noticed that he appears to be some kind of "Evolution" of the Melee wireframes? He even has a smash ball-looking thing inside of his body, and if you listen closely to the final boss music, it's actually a remix of the wireframe's fight music from Melee. (The recognizable rhythm guitar starts at about 33 seconds in) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.62.101.20 (talk • contribs) 16:30, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Most of the boss music is remixed from Melee. And that "core" doesn't look like a Smash logo at all to me. - Gargomon251 22:18, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Looks like a weird heart.12.74.207.137 03:18, 9 June 2008 (UTC) Like the Wire frames?

Tabuu
The who is tabuu question is something i discussed with a lot of my friends. a recurring joke with my friends is that he's tron, i just call him a boss. i've been wondering tho...how long has tabuu controlled master hand? ( since SSB? SSBM? pr right before SSBB? and where was crazy hand during the emissary? )
And people have been saying the last off way is very unlikely to not kill you, that is only true for certain difficulty levels ( normal and below maybe ) at higher difficulties it will kill you just like any of the others. ( I beat him on intense and lost 2 people to a mistimed roll from the 3rd wave )
But this is just my opinion and i expect to be flamed for it.

- I think the Subspace Emissary doesn't have anything to do with the previous two games, which didn't have a story to speak of. Same with all the Newcomers. You can't rationalize their sudden existence.- Gargomon251 17:29, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
i was throwing out theorys. but i really would like to know how did nintendo end up with the tabuu we know. like why he looks the way he does and what made them decide to make him anyway.
(Carbonkirby 01:13, 24 April 2008 (UTC))
I think the Emissary is a SSB universe retcon. Notice how in Melee and Brawl, they are trophies, but puppets in 64. Tabuu (supposedly supposed to be Taboo) and Brawl's Final Destination could be Earth with the wire frame as a projection of Taboo's possible human state. (Enzeru 15:18, 25 April 2008 (UTC))
Just another theory I always liked to think of. Since the playable characters are puppets/trophies or figures I always imagined that super smash brothers was all inside a person's imagination, making their toys fight each other for their own entertainment, much like a child with action figures. To further the analogy then master and crazy hand would literally be the player's hands, and I would assume they are right handed to lead to crazy hand's strange behavior. Which now leads to Tabuu controlling the hand which would make me think.. possibly the analogy of video games taking over play time instead of toys and figures? Especially given that he's made of energy and seems a lot like something from Tron. Anyways, just my two cents, take from it what you will. -Ndoki —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.65.157.108 (talk • contribs) 03:52, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Help
Could someone move that line out of the photo of taboo, or is it stuck there? 72.35.97.127 14:24, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- I've looked at those pictures multiple times and see no line. maybe it's just your computer acting up? or someone may have changed it by now. Carbonkirby 08:03, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Dragon Laser? Or Dark Cannon?
The attack unofficially called "Dragon Laser" states that Tabuu "takes out a gun in the shape of a dragon's head". I think it's more shaped like a Dark Cannon, don't you think? --Darkangelsv1 -- :P 19:22, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- Not really. Besides, it has a totally different beam and effect. The only similarities are the vague dragon shape. - Gargomon251 22:21, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- it looks sorta looks like a dark cannon but keep in mind why would they attack be a dark cannon if his off waves do the exact same thing? ( off waves do it way better too ). many people call it the dragon laser (and it widely accepted ) simply because it looks like a dragon's head. Carbonkirby 14:44, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Behind the Gloves
Is Tabuu the person behind the Master and Crazy hands?Who controls them? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.74.207.137 (talk • contribs) 03:17, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Did anyone notice this?
Several days ago when I was trying to cap Tabuu as a trophy and Lucario was last in line, I notice that my character (Lucario) got permanently stuck beneath Tabuu's feet and I couldn't free myself until he finally killed me. I think it occured when I was trying to dodge his "whip attack" (or was it his "bracket grab"). Anyways, if anyone can film this kind of glitch, I'll be glad to mention this in the Tabuu page.--Dark Paladin X (talk) 22:09, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Something Interesting
There's a rumor going around that he was based on, at least in name, the infamously stupid Rare game for the NES called Taboo: The Sixth Sense. Tabuu doesn't actually appear as a character, but it could be a possible name thing. -Anonymous
