Creature description

Starly is a common small bird in the Sinnoh region where the 4th generation Pokémon games take place. Pokédex information states that it flocks in great numbers and is often not seen alone, partially due to how an individual is barely even noticeable by itself. Each Starly makes very loud, harsh cries and can flap their deceptively small wings with great power.

Starly is arguable the modern counterpart to Pidgey; both are among the earliest Pokémon one can catch after receiving a starter Pokémon.
