I did a couple of 1 vs 3 matches vs 3 Yarn Yoshi amiibos and the stage seems to transform when I lose a stock and am left with two. Anyone know what’s up? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gligar2007 (talk • contribs) 18:03, January 27, 2022 (EST)

So, the thing about it is, that is a condensed version. It was already trimmed down once before (from what I will concede was a lot of information), but I added a small chunk of it back because, as I mention in my edit summary, the problem with removing information is that you remove much of what happens while in the world itself. Hollow Bastion is such an integral part to the Kingdom Hearts series that you kind of have to cover the important details at the bare minimum, and I see no problem with the origin section the way that it currently is, outside of maybe some wording cleanup (since the one who contributed most to that origin section was myself, but I'll also concede that my writing style isn't the most concise). - I really don't think we need a plot summary of all the major events that take place at the location. Knowing the full backstory isn't really necessary in the context of understanding what the stage's use in Smash represents. Alex the Weeb 15:15, January 24, 2025 (EST)
- In the context of an origin section, Hollow Bastion's feels like it was written entirely by a fan to gush about it, which shouldn't be the intention. The origin section should be a concise summary of the very essentials (such as when it first appeared, its recurring appearances, and short summaries of any cameos), and not every character, event and plot point. As mentioned, check any other stage origin section and it's clear there's far too much here - there's 1087 words, whereas most other stage origin sections are 150-400 words long (the 400ish ones are long because they have to explain stage hazards). If you are uncertain on how to trim it, I can do it for you in the near future when I have time. Mexi (talk) 15:59, January 24, 2025 (EST)
- Oh, I'll also preface that I am absolutely not a Kingdom Hearts fan and don't know what's super important and what isn't, so I might end up trimming out a lot of info that's considered essential to lore. However, the focus here should be giving a concise summary instead of diving into details; the Dive to the Heart section is a good example length. I'll probably aim to reach 200-300 words if possible, I hope you understand. Mexi (talk) 16:12, January 24, 2025 (EST)
- As someone who is a Kingdom Hearts fan, it's kind of hard not to gush about such a significant and cool world, and maybe that seeped into the writing a little bit, but let me see if I can't trim it down a little bit while also keeping the most important details.
