The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

The Nintendo DS (sometimes abbreviated NDS or DS) is a handheld game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo, which was released in November 2004. It is notable for having two screens, one of them being a touch screen which many games for it make use of. Since its relese the DS has been remade twice in the forms of the DS lite and the DSi. The Nintendo DS itself is represented in Super Smash Bros. Brawl through the PictoChat stage. PictoChat is a feature on the Nintendo DS in which players can communicate with each other by writing messages (or drawing doodles) on the touch screen.
In addition, many fans wish to see a Super Smash Bros. game for the Nintendo DS. Although both Masahiro Sakurai and Shigeru Miyamoto seemed interested in the idea, they claimed that, for the moment, they were only focusing on Brawl. No statements have been made about a DS Super Smash Bros. game have been made since Brawl's completion.
