Toriguri, sometimes shortened to TG, (TG(トリグリ)) is a Japanese Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Banjo & Kazooie player who is considered the best Banjo & Kazooie player of all-time, ranking 54th on the LumiRank 2023. Initially known as a successful player in Japan's online scene, he broke out onto the offline scene with his 9th-place finish at the Golden Week major Maesuma TOP 12 defeating MuteAce, Ron, and Umeki. His results improved throughout 2023, eventually becoming the first and only Banjo & Kazooie player to place top 8 at a major after placing 7th at Maesuma TOP 14, and he later had greater recognition internationally thanks to his run to 5th at Battle of BC 6, where he dominantly 3-0d MkLeo, and his win over Sparg0 at Kagaribi 12. These performances led many to consider Toriguri one of the best "mid-tier heroes" in Ultimate, and his success improved Banjo & Kazooie's reputation.
