The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Bonsly (ウソハチ, Usohachi in Japanese language trademarks) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.
Creature description
Bonsly is a 4th Generation Rock type Pokémon and the pre-evolution of Sudowoodo. It is a small brown rock Pokémon arranged like a potted bonsai tree. The Pokédex says it prefers dry and arid environments. It adjusts its body's fluid levels by eliminating excess through leaking it out of its eyes; for this reason it looks as if it's always crying.
Bonsly also performs mock crying as a tactic to throw potentially sympathetic opponents off guard.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
As a Poké Ball Pokémon
Bonsly is one of the Pokémon that appears out of a Poké Ball. When it appears, it can be picked up and thrown at enemies, but is thrown and carried like a crate rather than a normal item. It won't fly very far when thrown due to its weight, but it strikes enemies with a lot of power. The target can be potentially knocked off of the stage even if he/she has less than 50 percent damage. Like any thrown item, Bonsly can be reflected. Occasionally, when reflecting Bonsly, it will be able to break through Reflectors more easily than many items.
Trophy Description
A Bonsai Pokémon. It looks like a plant, but its history reveals it is actually a Rock-type. Its best move among all its speciality moves is Fake Tears. As it grows, it will become skilled at using Mimic, which allows it to copy an opponent's previous move. If it levels up under certain conditions, it evolves into Sudowoodo.
