Ignition is a weekly Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (formerly Super Smash Bros. for Wii U) tournament held each Wednesday in Chicago, Illinois. It is most notable for being the largest Ultimate weekly in the city, as well as being the most tightly run. It is also known for its unique side events, including 10% Stamina Mode, Mirror Mains, Bad Customs, and more. It is streamed and run by Unrivaled Tournaments. Ignition began on October 14th, 2015 and is currently active.
Ignition #224 on March 11th, 2020 marked the final tournament before a year-long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ignition #225 was held on July 7th, 2021.
