Competitive Ultimate is the first Smash scene where all three major superregions (North America, Japan, and Europe) can host majors on a consistent basis. As such, Smash is arguably the only Smash game that can have a player win a major in all three superregions.
A "Triple Crown" is a term used for someone or something that wins three of the scene's most important events. The term is mostly used in horse racing, such as the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing, but it has also been used to describe winners in any sport.
As such, although not an official term or award, Ultimate's Triple Crown is a player who wins a major in North America, Japan, and Europe.
