MattyG is a retired Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Chrom and Wolf player from Massachusetts, who was considered one of the best Chrom players in the United States when he was active. MattyG was ranked 3rd on the Massachusetts Smash Ultimate Power Rankings and 4th on the New England Ultimate Power Rankings. He had defeated players such as Marss, Light, Ned, Kurama, Rivers, Mr. E, Larry Lurr, and Raito.
In Smash 4, MattyG played Cloud and had a Mega Man secondary. He has taken sets off of top players such as Marss, MVD, kameme, Ned, Light, and Blacktwins. He was formerly ranked 4th on the New England Power Rankings.

Sexual misconduct and blackmail controversy[edit]
MattyG has been subject of controversy when it has been revealed that he was in a relationship with a 16-year old CaptainZack in 2017, when MattyG himself was nearing 20 years of age. The relationship was allegedly abusive on both sides.[1]
It was revealed in Salem's Twitlonger that MattyG threatened to expose Salem for providing alcohol to the underaged CaptainZack if Salem mentioned MattyG in any way regarding their controversies.
