James Sparrow is an American smasher from Minnesota who began playing in the Fox Cities area of Wisconsin in January of 2006. He has played Falco since then, with Captain Falcon as a secondary, and has more recently begun playing Donkey Kong and Fox.

In September of 2006, Sparrow began attending college at the University of Saint Thomas, home of Bluewolf's St. Paul Biweeklies. Sparrow began building his skills in his new home of Minnesota, where his Falco received training from Aarosmashguy. Rising up as one of the better known players in Minnesota, Sparrow created the Minnesota Power Rankings system where he acts as an organizer and a panelist.
