This tournament was marked by a number of notable upsets and runs by lower seeded players like Micro-onde and Rafko.
The tournaments 8th seed, Eru.reido, placed 2nd after upsetting the 5th seeds Almost and Elfo, and most notably the first seed Mezcaul.
The tournament's 3rd seed, momon placed 33rd after being upset by the 30th seed Micro-onde and 66th seed Rafko, while the tournament's number 4th seed, Bluesky, was upset early by 29th seed DouDou in winners and the 16th seed Lioko in losers. Consequentially, Bluesky's tournament run ended at 25th.
