Paradigm Shift was a regional Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament in Greensboro, North Carolina on May 21st-22nd, 2016. It exclusively featured Super Smash Bros. for Wii U with a single and doubles tournament. The event was hosted by Team Meteor, a group of five TOs who are well-known for hosting Smash Wii U tournaments in North Carolina. Team Meteor consists of Syde7, Veen, Dandy Penguin, Uncle, and Killanator.

Two crew battles took place at the conclusion of the first day featuring 5 top players from each of the neighboring regions. Each player had 3 stocks totaling 15 per team, first team to take all 15 of the other's stocks won. North Carolina was victorious against both the South Carolina and Georgia crews.
