Event 52: Kansas was a regional Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament, and was then one of the biggest tournaments since Super Smash Bros. Brawl had been released. Many talent from out-of-state appeared at this tournament including players from Tri-State, Florida, and the Mid-South. Hungrybox, a relatively new player at the time, 4-stocked Mew2King, then considered by many as one of the two best players in the world (along with Mango).
