Kanto Winter 2022 was a national Super Smash Bros. tournament held in Tokyo, Japan. It used the traditional Japanese tournament format, starting with round robin best-of-1 pools that place players into either an A or B (pro or amateur) best-of-3 double-elimination bracket. There was no character lock rule. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, attendance was lower than usual, and no international players were able to attend. 33 players participated in total, the full list can be found here.

kysk won the tournament using a combination of Captain Falcon and Kirby, defeating Wario in Winner's Finals and Grand Finals, who used all Pikachu. Wangera placed third with Jigglypuff.
