WINNER! is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament series held in Tokyo, Japan. Tournaments are currently scheduled to be held every other Monday, though they are sometimes skipped if there is a large tournament the preceding weekend. Larger "-Next-" tournaments are also held occasionally on weekends, with a 96-entrant cap instead of the regular 48.
On March 27th, 2023, tournament director Matsuri announced that the series would hold its final weekday tournament in June, later announced to be on June 19th. He stated that the original plan of the series was to revive the offline scene in Kanto following the COVID-19 pandemic, and now that more offline tournaments have come back, the series is no longer as necessary.[1]
