The Off-Season is an upcoming Super Smash Bros. Melee invitational tournament that will be held on October 15th-16th, 2022 in Arlington, Texas. There were 8 players invited to the singles event, and 8 players will qualify through an open bracket.[1] The tournament will have a $25,000 prize pool for singles. The Off-Season is a retro-themed charity fundraiser event in support of Movember that will also feature a Call of Duty: Black Ops II invitational, a FIFA 06 celebrity showmatch, retro game speedruns, and Pokémon card openings.
