The move resets Greninja's horizontal momentum and first sets its vertical speed to 2 on frames 1-16, then sets it to -5 from frame 17 onward. Manual horizontal movement is also disabled during frames 1-49, while jostling is disabled during frames 1-16.
If the attack hits an opponent, Greninja performs a midair jump after hitlag (regardless of its actual one's availability and without using it up), which is interruptible on frame 21.
