Hefty Heavyweights (ずっしり重い！ ヘビー級トーナメント, It's Heavy! Heavyweight Tournament) was an Event Tourney with a theme of heavyweight fighters, only including characters whose weight value is 107 and over. It ran from 6 a.m. on October 18, 2019 to 6 a.m. on October 21, 2019 (UTC). During the event, only certain characters could be used.
Description[edit]
- This time-limited tourney drops the 15 heaviest fighters into the ring. Get ready for a rumble of earth-shaking proportions!
- The further you advance, the better the spirit you'll win![1]

Trivia[edit]
- Not counting Terry and Kazuya (as they were not released during the event), Charizard is the only fighter with a weight value over 106 to not be an available fighter for the event. This is most likely due to it being a part of a composite character, Pokémon Trainer, who has the lightweight Squirtle and the middleweight Ivysaur on his team.
- The heaviest characters (aside from Charizard) to not be included in this tournament are Snake, R.O.B. and Banjo & Kazooie.
- Ça envoie du lourd, the French name for this event, is a pun. It can also be translated as "It's a heavyweight!"
