The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Template:Character Competency Chart (SSBM)
This template can be used on user or smasher pages to display character competency in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The concept for the table is taken from Miles's user page.
Usage
Character competency is ranked in 5 tiers, symbolized by the difficulty icons from Brawl.
Icon | # | Meaning |
---|---|---|
4 | best | |
3 | better | |
2 | average | |
1 | worse | |
0 | worst |
For each character you want to rank, add its name as the parameter name and the number above as the parameter value. The number used corresponds to the number of lines in the difficulty icon. For example: {{Character Competency Chart (SSBM)|Mario=4|Bowser=0}}
. There is no standardized system for ranking your character competency, however as indicated by the “meaning” column, more lines mean higher competency, not the other way around.
Any characters not ranked (or ranked as anything than a number from 0 to 4) will be added to an “uncategorized” row. This row is removed if all characters are ranked.
