Cyan Can is a smasher from Arkansas who mains Luigi in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and dual mains Dr. Mario and Luigi in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Some lesser known but still relevant facts are that Cyan has results maining Kirby in Smash 64, mostly in the region of Memphis, where he was PR'd in the top 5 for a brief period, and Cyan was PR'd in Arkansas for a short time in Project M maining Luigi. Cyan Can took a set off of Aerolink at Mid-South Championships, and has several regional results overall. His biggest achievement is taking over a whole tournament over the region of St. Louis and winning $1,000. Cyan Can is currently ranked 2nd on the Central Arkansas Power Rankings. Cyan Can also has arguably the best results of any doubles player in Arkansas in Smash 4 and Ultimate overall. Typically, Cyan Can is known to be a very emotional player in many ways. He also has varying opinions compared to the rest of the community.
In 2019, Cyan Can was formally banned from tournaments in the Ultimate Arkansas Smash community due to disruptive and potentially dangerous behavior. During his local ban, he has only competed in a single regional, GDEX Underworld located in Ohio, in which in placed 7th in singles and 3rd in doubles. It should be noted that other Smash Bros communities (such as the local Super Smash Bros. Melee community) have not had problems with Cyan Can competing at events. He participated in some locals post COVID-19 with some similar results, however he didn't continue for long. In fact, despite being well within the level of the PR at the time, he was omitted. While Cyan Can had an opportunity to make a ban appeal, he decided that there was too much residing conflict between him and the local community and decided to retire from Smash Ultimate competition. To this day, even with the lack of his presence, the Arkansas Ultimate community is conflicted about the decisions that have been made regarding him.
