User talk:Gorgon
Hi there!
Welcome to our wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.
- Read this first as it provides many great resources designed to help users get oriented with the wiki and become part of the community.
- Visit the recent changes to see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
- Questions? You can ask at the help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
- Need help? The community portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit.
I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!
Tips
When linking a smasher page on an article, u can use the Sm template instead of the [[ ]]. If the smasher uses a tag beginning with a small letter, you can use the lowercase template to show that. Lastly, in the tournament placings section, you should use — instead of the typical dash. Thanks! NPM Morr!? 20:40, December 6, 2021 (EST)
Reminder
Remember to use templates (such as (Team, SSBU, and Trn). Aside from this, we have several tournament pages on the wiki (Pound Online and Tripoint Smash 100), you should link to those pages instead of using smash.gg links. Thanks! NPM Morr!? 00:09, December 19, 2021 (EST)
- A reminder of this. We usually have pages for the more notable online tournament series such as Lunch Box and TNS Pandemic Monthly, and those should be linked instead of the Smash.gg pages. CookiesCreme 19:06, December 30, 2021 (EST)
Do not reupload deleted images
That image of Hareta was deleted for a reason, a hospital selfie is not an appropriate image for a Smasher article. Per our guidelines, the infobox image used for Smasher articles should be a recent picture of reasonably professional quality taken at tournaments, and joke images are absolutely not allowed. Also in general, never reupload an image that was deleted without any prior discussion. Omega Tyrant 00:16, March 24, 2022 (EDT)
